The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's session with increases in most indices, and the turnover amounted to over 3.36 million lei (662,711 euros), 35 minutes after the start of trading.
The main index, BET, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.27%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, registered a gain of 0.23%.
Additionally, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid securities, rose 0.30%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, appreciated 0.48%.
The BET-FI index of the Financial Investment Companies (SIFs) saw an increase of 0.28%, and the BET-NG index, which tracks the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, advanced 0.46%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.52%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Altur (6.67%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+2.47%), and One United Properties (+1.85%).
On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-14.81%), UAMT (-14.29%), and Artego (-11.11%) were on the decline. AGERPRES
