An international exhibition titled "Romanian and Hungarian Folk Traditions" will be opened at the beginning of 2025 during the Romanian and Hungarian Culture Week, to mark the Photographic Art Day in Romania (January 11), the National Culture Day (January 15) and the Day of Hungarian Culture (January 22).
To mark the 13th edition of the competition, the organizers received 249 images taken by Romanian and Hungarian photographers from Israel, Serbia, Slovakia, Republic of Moldova, Romania and Hungary.

Photographic Art Day in Romania is celebrated since 2010, on January 11, established by government decision. The birthday of Carol Pop de Szathmari - the name on his baptismal certificate being Szathmari Pap Karoly (1812-1887), recognized as the first Romanian photographer and the first war photographer in the world (Crimea, 1853-1856) was chosen to mark this day.
