The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday's trading session higher on most indices, with turnover at 8.3 million RON (1.66 million EUR) carried out in the first 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, went up by 0.64%, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares registered an advance of 0.39%.The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers went up by 0.06%, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK, increased by 0.17%.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was up 0.13%, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG gained 0.75%.On the other hand, SIF Hoteluri (-13.83%), UCM Resita (-6.5%) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (-4,96%) were on a downward trend.
