The 'Madrigal - Marin Constantin' National Chamber Choir, conducted by Anna Ungureanu, will perform five concerts from November 20 to 25 in Luxembourg and Belgium, as part of the European Tour "Bridges across Europe".
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, the tour marks Romania's National Day in advance and anticipates the winter holiday season.On November 20, the Madrigal Choir will perform an extraordinary concert at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg, marking its return to the Grand Duchy after more than three decades. Admission by invitation only.
From November 21 to 25, the Madrigal Choir will be in Belgium, in Brussels, Bruges and Antwerp, where it will present four extraordinary concerts in the most beautiful cathedrals, churches, museums and concert venues.
For the first time ever, the Madrigal Choir will launch in Brussels, in the heart of Europe, its new cultural diplomacy album - "The national anthems of the Member States of the European Union", which sends a message of support for the construction and identity of today's EU.
In Brussels, the Madrigal Choir will donate two period costumes to the Educational Department of the Royal Museums of Arts of Belgium, promoting the magic of its concerts among Belgian children.
For the seventh time in the Kingdom of Belgium, the Madrigal Choir, conducted by Anna Ungureanu, will present selected programs of Renaissance music, Romanian works and Romanian and international carols.

The tour of the Madrigal Choir in the two countries is organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Romanian Embassy in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Brussels, the concert events in Belgium being supported by the Romanian Embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium.
