The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on Tuesday, with almost all indices showing gains, and the turnover amounted to 6.2 million lei (1.2 million euros) after 30 minutes from the start of the session.
The main BET index, which reflects the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a 0.06% increase, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, posted a 0.02% advance.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which tracks the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 0.10%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, appreciated 0.25%.
On the other hand, the BET-FI index of the SIFs recorded a 0.43% increase, while the BET-NG index, tracking the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was up 0.24%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.53%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in stock prices were recorded by the companies Sinteza (+14.72%), Turism Felix (+5.59%), and Ropharma (+5.33%).
On the other hand, the stocks of Casa de Bucovina - club de munte (-6.67%), Romcarbon (-2.58%), and Aerostar (-2.30%) were down.
