The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session with all but two indices in the green and RON 39.229 million (EUR 7.883 million) worth of trades.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, inched up 0.05 percent to 17,013.03 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.03 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.10 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK dipped 0.02 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies rose 0.93 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG dropped 0.02 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market closed 0.27 percent higher.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Romgaz, with RON 6.464 million in trades, followed by Banca Transilvania, which generated trades worth RON 3.113 million, and Hidroelectrica, with trades of RON 2.244 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Mecanică Fina (+14.74 percent), Sinteza (+14.71 percent), and UAMT (+14.71 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Mecanica Ceahlau (-9.73 percent), Rompetrol Well Services (-6.46 percent), and Chimcomplex Borzesti (-3.67 percent). AGERPRES
