Romania will participate in the largest organic products fair in the world, BioFach 2025, which will take place in Nuremberg (Germany), from February 11-14 this year, having been present for 20 years in this event dedicated to agriculture and ecological products, the Bio-Romania Association informs on Friday, informs Agerpres.
"Biofach represents an excellent opportunity to present the diversity and quality of Romanian organic products on the international stage and to explore new business opportunities and to express Romania's potential to produce organic food, food-medicine", the president of the Bio-Romania Association, Avraham Marian Cioceanu said in a release sent to AGERPRES.
According to the cited source, Romania will be represented at Biofach 2025 by top companies in the field. Thus, Apiprodex, Evicom Honey, Herta BIO, Honey Trade continue their tradition in the production of honey and beekeeping products, bringing to the market products recognized for their purity and special quality specific to the unique floral biodiversity in the world, and Regiu Plant, Birom Ralex, BioCatina Cooperativa, Rawboost Smart Food and EcoFruct are distinguished by innovative products and commitment to ecological practices, offering organic solutions adapted to contemporary health and nutrition needs.
"The spontaneous flora of Romania is carefully harvested, selected and preserved by these companies, to be offered to the producers of teas, natural remedies and the most demanding producers of organic cosmetics from all over the world", said the representative of Bio-Romania.
Also, the company Petras Bio brings to the fair organic flours and quality pasta, and Giofral from Timisoara offers a rich range of organic oils, cold pressed with special qualities, already highly appreciated by Western European customers.
Franco-Romanian domains, one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in Romania, highlights Romania's commitment to viticulture and organic wine-making, offering wines from unique varieties specific to Romania, refined, with unique aromas and flavors highly appreciated by connoisseurs. Vanbet Bio from Vaslui brings a selection of dairy products and matured cheeses from goat's and sheep's milk, very special comparable to the most refined similar products obtained in countries with tradition such as France and Italy. Ever since 1990, BioFach has become the essential meeting point for organic producers around the world, offering networking opportunities and a place where ideas can be exchanged between all actors in the value chain of the organic sector.
