Several events occasioned by the National Minorities Day will take place on Wednesday at the Department for Interethnic Relations within the General Secretariat of the Government, in collaboration with the 'Dimitrie Gusti' National Village Museum.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, there will be a book launch and the varnishing of an exhibition called "Community. Multiculturalism. Development" taking place at the Village Museum.
There will also be a fashion show held at the same venue carried out by fashion designer Zita Moldovan of Roma ethnicity, who will bring a collection inspired from the cultural heritage of the traditional costume of the Roma community.
The launch of a book entitled "Avram Iancu - The European Nature of the Romanian Revolution of 1848-1849" coordinated by university professor Gheorghe Firczak will also take place on the same occasion, as an event part of the Avram Iancu year.
Romania celebrates the National Minority Day on December 18 as of 2017.
