The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's session in the red on all indices, transactions amounting to 4.342 million RON (872,355 million EUROS) 15 minutes into the trading.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, dropped 0.71%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, decreased 0.69%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, lost 0.64%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.79%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decline of 0.29%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw a decrease of 0.76%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down 0.58%.
According to BVB data, the highest increases in share values were recorded by Romcab (+5.95%), Prefab (+5%) and Turism Felix (+4%).
On the other hand, the shares of Condmag (-7.14%), UAMT (-5.45%) and Sinteza (-2.86%) were down.
