The arrears of the consolidated general budget increased by 1.9% in October 2024, compared to the previous month, to 597.2 million RON, from 585.7 million RON in September, according to data published on the website of the Ministry of Finance (MF) and consulted by AGERPRES.
Arrears more than 90 days overdue increased by 7.58%, from 154.3 million RON to 166 million RON, while those more than 120 days overdue fell by 2.18%, from 339.4 million RON in September 2024 to 332 million RON in October 2024. Arrears more than 360 days overdue increased by 7.8%, from 92 million RON to 99.2 million RON.
According to the cited source, as regards local budgets, arrears increased by 1.5%, from 540.3 million RON (in September 2024) to 548.7 million RON (in October 2024).
Arrears more than 90 days overdue went up by 4% to 140.8 million RON, arrears over 120 days overdue decreased by 1.32% to 321.8 million RON, and arrears over 360 days overdue rose by 8.7% to 86.1 million RON.
Arrears in the chapter "State budget and autonomous entities" increased from 45.2 million RON in September 2024 to 48.5 million RON in October (+7.3%).
Arrears more than 90 days overdue increased by 32.6% to 25.2 million RON. Those more than 120 days overdue dropped by 23.88%, to 10.2 million RON, while those more than 360 days overdue increased to 13 million RON (plus 0.77%).
